Shooting a Music Video in Orlando

Around a month ago my youngest and I got to be a part of a music video shot in downtown Orlando. The song “Best Foot Forward” was written by Brandon Husken of the band Brae and was used in an Easter service at Kensington Community Church.

Kensington is deep rooted in the arts, harboring a rich incubator of talented musicians, producers, dancers, actors, photographers, videographers, etc. The artists inside Kensington not only produce for the church, but also use their talents to support one another in their personal endeavors. Less than a year ago Kensington opened their first national church in Winter Garden, FL.

In this video, Danny Cox out of Detroit performs the Brae song with Micahel Boyer, aka “Verbs

Although you’ll only see the back of my head in the video, you get to see my son Dawson and his awesome curly blonde hair.

Kensington Community Church uses the arts and high impact messages to reach people who typically hate church. Started 20 years ago in Metro Detroit, they have impacted several communities and have made the news a number of times with their non traditional ways of sharing God’s love.
